The car park sits right on National Route 148, which is kept well cleared of snow. Just across the JR Oito Line tracks is our base lodge,
Castor Plaza, which opens straight onto the slopes.
Easy and convenient, even with small children.

By Car

・About 60 min from Azumino IC (Nagano Expressway)
・About 60 min from Nagano IC (Joshin-etsu Expressway)
・About 70 min from Itoigawa IC (via the Hokuriku Expressway)

*When it snows, you may have to wait to enter the car park while snow clearing is under way.
Winter (studless) tires are required in snowy or icy conditions. Two-wheel-drive vehicles must also carry tire chains, so please come prepared.

Please use Parking Lots 1 and 2 along the national road.
*Lots 3 and 4 are small and reached by a narrow, steep road.

Parking Capacity

・Lot 1: approx. 100 cars
・Lot 2: approx. 150 cars
・Lot 3: approx. 50 cars
・Lot 4: approx. 20 cars

Note: Lots 3 and 4 are reached by a steep hill. If you are not used to driving on snow, or have a 2WD vehicle, please avoid them.
